A house designed by renown architect John Blair of Arrowtown was completed ahead of schedule in August 2010. The close working relationship between architect, builder and owner ensured this was a successful project.

A three bedroom, three bathroom, two office residence that takes every advantage of spectacular lake and mountain views with natural indoor-outdoor flows created an idyllic home for a professional couple returning after many years abroad.

 This home won a Gold Award and also won its category at the Registered Master Builders House of the Year Otago Southland 2011.

Our new home is simply a pleasure to live in.

Everyone seems to have cautionary tales to tell about how difficult and stressful building a home would be, particularly when you are sitting on the other side of the globe. This proved not to be the case and from our perspective it became a project filled with pure enjoyment and excitement. Modern technology ensured that progress was easily monitored and any issues addressed as and when they arose.

Every successful project needs a leader and Trevor provided the focus with his no nonsense, friendly, professional manner. This flowed seamlessly across the range of subcontractors who tackled their responsibilities with enthusiasm and skill.

Our wonderful home, a dream just a short time ago, has become a reality. Guests and family consistently comment on the quality of the workmanship and we feel privileged to now call this our home.
